IB issues security alert across India

Vicky Nanjappa reports: The Intelligence Bureau and the Military Intelligence have advised all police stations across the country to remain on high alert. A general advisory warning of trouble in the wake of the Afzal Guru's hanging has been issued.

The advisory warns of possible infiltrations in the border areas especially in Kashmir valley.

The Military Intelligence report states that there are chances of problems erupting in Kashmir.

The Intelligence Bureau has advised all police chiefs to ensure that security is beefed up.
