Congress takes potshot at Trinamool on vandalism incident

In the wake of police lodging FIRs against party workers in West Bengal, Congress today took potshot at Mamata Banerjee-led state government saying vandalism is seen from different angles by the TMC as it feels that only other political parties resort to unruly scenes.

"What is the definition of vandalism in West Bengal? I am a little confused. Does it mean dubbing people as Maoists or beating up police in the police station or banning the media?" Congress spokesperson Renuka Chowdhary told reporters. Chowdhary said there seems to be a "mix-up" on what should be termed as "vandalism" in West Bengal.
