CPI(M): Mamata's conduct befits a feudal empress

CPI(M) leader Nilotpal Basu says West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee's conduct, threatening her security guards at the Kolkata Book Fair yesterday, was nothing short of 'despicable'. "The language she has used befits a feudal empress, not the chief minister of a state," said Basu.

Mamata Banerjee told her security guards they "should be whipped' as she walked a few paces and waited for her car at the Calcutta Book Fair gates last evening."Chabkano uchit apnader (you should be whipped),' she was heard screaming at K.K. Dwivedi, the special branch officer most often seen walking next to her.
