Antony frets over Pak in the Pacific, welcomes Chinese

India expressed concern on Wednesday over Pakistan handing over its strategic Gwadar port to a Chinese company, which it views as part of Beijing's string of pearls policy to get a foothold in the Indian Ocean region.

Defence minister AK Antony conveyed his apprehension about China's growing influence in its neighbourhood at Aero India 2013 held in Bangalore. The show will run from February 6-10. Read more
