Modi: PM promised help for development of Gujarat

Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi says he has presented the PM with a memorandum on the Narmada dam issue. The statement comes after his meeting Dr Manmohan Singh this morning. "The PM has assured all help in for the development of Gujarat. I have sought help for the Narmada irrigation programme as well," he said. He also demanded that the prices of gas be similar to that of Maharashtra and Delhi. This was his first meeting after he became CM for the third time.
