Sonia writes to Karunanidhi, shares concern for Lankan Tamils

Congress president Sonia Gandhi has replied to DMK chief M Karunanidhi's letter expressing concern for the cause of Tamils in Sri Lanka.

In a copy of the letter tweeted by the former chief minister, Gandhi said she shared his concerns regarding the 'disturbing developments' in Sri Lanka vis-a-vis the Tamils, and promised to take up the matter with the minister for external affairs.
