Egyptian President Morsi to visit India on March 19

Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi will visit India on March 19, on what is considered a very crucial visit to boost bilateral ties between the two countries.

Morsi, a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, is currently confronting agitations against his leadership.

Morsi, who met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the NAM summit in September, will be accorded a ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan when he arrives in the country.
