Diesel prices to go up by 40-50 p monthly: Moily

Oil minister Veerappa Moily has said that diesel prices will be raised by 40-50 paise every month till further orders, reports NDTV.

The government had on January 17 permitted state-run oil marketing companies to set diesel prices in a move that could help the government reduce its budget-busting subsidy bill. A day later, the price of the fuel was hiked by 45 paise.
