Dense fog in Delhi; air, road traffic hit

Dense fog engulfed Delhi early today hitting road, rail and air traffic.

At domestic terminal 1D, 25 flights could not take off as scheduled. Two international flights heading for Delhi were delayed and four had to be diverted to other cities.

There were traffic snarls along key routes in the capital. Train services were also affected.
