No need for Maha CM to resign: State Congress chief

Maharashtra Congress chief Manikrao Thakre today came to the defence of Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan over the Adarsh commission report issue, saying that there was no need for him to resign.

Chavan is facing some embarrassment after party vice president Rahul Gandhi expressed disapproval about the state government's decision to reject the report of the inquiry commission on the Adarsh Society scam.
