Just in: The man who raped a Spanish woman in 2012 in her apartment in Bandra has been given a life term.

Police had launched a manhunt for the accused who was believed to be a serial robber.

Piecing together the horrific details, police sources said the man, Mohammed Badshah alias Mohammed Ismail Ansari, entered the victim's flat, raped her twice and later ordered her to take a bath.

He spent around 45 minutes at the victim's flat and smoked two of her cigarettes. He is also believed to have wiped off fingerprints and traces of evidence that might have been left in the course of his stay.
