Muzaffarnagar, Yadav said officials should be careful about what they speak.
Gupta had said that if people could die of cold then how do people survive in Siberia.
Addressing the media now, Akhilesh said people should have control about what they speak especially when they speak to the media since the same tape will be shown in a loop throughout the day. "That's especially true when you are speaking about Muzaffarnagar. You should not hurt anyone's feelings," he said.
He said a lot of people had gone back home from the relief camps, but many more were yet to leave.
