Parliament may convened for three days beginning January 13, say our sources in Delhi. The mystery of the winter session of Parliament closing sine die, two days ahead of it its scheduled end of session, has yet to be resolved.

The UPA leadership has decided that a special session of Parliament should be convened to pass all the pending bills including Rahul Gandhi's six anti-corruption bills.  Sonia Gandhi also wants her Women's Reservation Bill to be passed during this special session. After these bills are passed, Sonia Gandhi is likely to declare at the AICC session on January 17/18 that the party has fulfilled the promises in its manifesto.
