Tarun Tejpal to remain in jail for another 12 days

Tehelka's founder Tarun Tejpal, who has been accused of sexual assault of a woman journalist, will spend the Christmas and New Year's eve in a prison cell. A magistrate, on Monday extended Tejpal's remand for 12 days up to January 4. Tejpal was arrested November 30 after a woman journalist accused him of sexual assault during a conference held at a Goa resort.
