Case against Indian diplomat unwarranted: Khurshid

In an interview to a TV news channel, Minister of External Affairs Salman Khurshid says that the case against Indian diplomat Devyani Khobragade should be closed as it is unwarranted.

He says he won't respond to US Attorney Preet Bharara's statement but will only speak to the US Secretary of State .

Khurshid says there are too many unexplained factors, asks why the warrant issued by the Delhi High Court was ignored.

Calls case against Khobragade a conspiracy.
