The demand for removal of Justice A K Ganguly, accused of harassing a law intern, from the post of Chairman of West Bengal Human Rights Commission, along with Telangana issue paralysed the functioning of Lok Sabha today.

As soon as the House assembled for the day, members of Congress, YSR Congress and TDP displayed placards opposing creation of Telangana by bifurcating Andhra Pradesh. Samajwadi Party members trooped into Well demanding government action against repeated incursion into Indian territory by China.

Speaker Meira Kumar then adjourned the House till noon. When the House reassembled, similar scenes were witnessed with Trinamool Congress members, led by Sudip Bandopadhyay, coming into the Well demanding sacking of Justice Ganguly.
