Union Law and Justice Minister Kapil Sibal on Monday said Justice AK Ganguly, who has been accused of sexual harassment by a law intern, should resign voluntarily from the chairmanship of the West Bengal Human Rights Commission, and added that he would not like to see the ignominy of a removal procedure being inflicted on the latter.

"I have no doubt about this. I think in the light of the latest revelations of the Solicitor General, I think it is time for him to voluntarily submit his resignation. This is an exceptionally serious matter," Sibal said in response to a question regarding Justice AK Ganguly resigning voluntarily.
