Narrow escape for Rahul at Delhi airport
December 12, 2013  09:15
Zee News reports: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi had a narrow escape on Tuesday at Indira Gandhi International airport here, when he was returning from Rae Bareli in his private jet.

It is being said that Rahul's plane was given the clearance to land at the same runaway where an Ilyushin aircraft of Indian Air Force plane was moving and about to take off.

However, fortunately just moments before Rahul's Cessna Citation was about to land, the airport traffic control alerted the Congress vice president's pilot to abort landing.

Reports further suggest that Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered probe into the incident.
