Srinagar terror attack: 1 CRPF jawan dead, 1 critically injured

Sad news coming in. One of the two CRPF jawans injured in a militant attack at Nowgam on the outskirts of Srinagar this afternoon, has succumbed to his injuries, reports Mukhtar Ahmad in Srinagar.

The jawans were rushed to hospital for treatment.

The area has been surrounded by security forces and searches are going on. Militants fired at the jawan from a close range, injuring him critically, said a senior police officer.
