Sanjay Dutt gets parole over wife's 'illness'

Members of the Republican Party of India on Saturday staged a protest outside Pune's Yerwada jail where actor Sanjay Dutt is currently lodged.

Dutt has recently been granted parole for 30 days over his wife Manyata's 'illness'.

RPI activists protested the court's decision to grant bail to Dutt twice in two months.

Dutt had been convicted for illegal possession of arms in the Mumbai blasts case and he is serving the remaining 42 months of his five-year sentence.
