Girl injured in acid attack in Ludhiana

A girl was injured after a young boy threw a acid on her face at a beauty parlour in Ludhiana today where she had gone for her bridal makeup shortly before her marriage.

The 22-year-old victim, a resident of Barnala, was rushed to the DMC Hospital, police said.

The boy managed to escape on a vehicle parked outside the beauty parlour in Sarabha Nagar locality, Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, N S Dhillon said.
