Maid murder case: BSP MP moves court to attend Par session

BSP MP Dhananjay Singh, arrested along with his wife Jagriti Singh in connection with the murder of their maid, has moved a Delhi court seeking interim bail for attending the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament. Additional Sessions Judge Dharmesh Sharma today fixed the plea for hearing before the court of Additional Sessions Judge Daya Prakash on December 10.

Dhananjay, in his plea, has said that he is a Member of Parliament (MP) from Jaunpur constituency in Uttar Pradesh and wanted to attend the Winter Session of Parliament.

The session is scheduled to conclude on December 20. Dhananjay and his wife Jagriti, a dental surgeon at R M L Hospital, are currently lodged in Tihar Jail under judicial custody.
