No Lokpal Bill in winter session of Parliament

Our sources in Delhi say that the Lokpal Bill will not be tabled in the winter session of Parliament. Satyavrat Chaturvedi's report is being awaited, it seems. Chaturvedi is the chairman of the select committee on Lok Pal. The government has expedite the clearance by the Cabinet after which it will take two weeks for the Bill to be re-introduced in the Rajya Sabha.The 12-day winter session of Parliament began today.
