Antony, Shinde meet Advani on Telangana

Defence minister AK Antony and home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde had an hour-long meeting with LK Advani recently.

Insiders say that this meeting was held to seek the BJP's support for the Telangana Bill.

Seasoned politician that Advani is, his response to these two emissaries was: "Let me discuss with the BJP Parliamentary Board." He also asked the ministers to send the copy of the report of Group of Minsters on Telangana so that the BJP can formulate its strategy.
