An angry PM speaks in the Rajya Sabha on the criticism over his state of the economy address in Parliament an hour ago. This is the first time the PM is visibly angry in Parliament.

He said the opposition is wrong about investors losing confidence. "If you are worried about investor confidence, your conduct in Parliament is important," he said

Opposition MPs in both houses raised a ruckus when Dr Singh began speaking in Parliament. "Have you heard of a situation where the PM is not allowed to speak in Parliament," he thunders.

He said the Opposition has to realise its role in Parliament.

To the continuing disruptions in Parliament over the missing Coal-gate files, the PM says, "I am no the custodian of files in the coal ministry."
