While the Rajya Sabha has been adjourned, the PM also said that the principal opposition party is still not reconciled to the fact that they are out of power. He said the government has the ambition to put the economy back on track and put the growth rate at 5.5 per cent for the current fiscal.

Almost all through the speech the backbenchers in the Opposition repeatedly interrupted the PM's speech and it took Leader of the Opposition in the RS intervene.

While the PM has not given specific assurances to the India Inc and investors on how he will tackle the economy and the falling rupee, the fact that the PM can actually fight his own battles and attack the opposition must come as a welcome change.
