Pakistani official overturns 33-year-sentence for Dr Shakeel Afridi who helped CIA track Osama bin Laden; orders new trial.
The Peshawar commissioner has also handed over the case of Dr Shakeel Afridi to the political agent of Khyber Agency. He said that Dr Afridi could not be released before the orders of the political agent.

Dr Afridi was accused of running a fake vaccination campaign in which he collected DNA samples, which may have helped the American intelligence agency find Osama Bin Laden in the garrison city of Abbottabad.
