Netanyahu holds urgent security meeting

Amid speculations of an impending US strike on Syria, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today held an urgent security consultations with his top officials and said the Jewish nation was "prepared for any eventuality". 

Israel was not involved in the Syrian Civil War, but if it discerns any attempt at all to attack it, "We will respond, and we will respond fiercely," Netanyahu said after the meeting, adding that his administration was "prepared for any eventuality".
