Chhattisgarh: Two Maoist couriers arrested

Two people allegedly acting as Maoist couriers were arrested and a huge cache of explosives were recovered from them in Raipur, police said.        

"Acting on specific information that two suspected Maoists were moving in an SUV with explosives, they were nabbed from the Shankar Nagar area," said Raipur Range Inspector General of Police G P Singh.       

Those arrested have been identified as Babulal Sharma, 52, and Tarak Kundu, 42, who are natives of Bande village of Kanker district in North Bastar region.
