Another LeT suspect arrested in Malda

A suspected linkman of terror outfit Lashkar-e-Tayiba was arrested from Malda district today and brought here in North Dinajpur district for interrogation, a top police official today said. 

Md Abu Bakkar (35), owner of a cyber cafe at Shamsi in Malda district's Chanchal police station area, was arrested on information passed by another LeT suspect Md Alauddin who was nabbed a few days back in North Dinajpur district, SP Akhilesh Chaturvedi said. 

The North Dinajpur district SP said that the hard discs of the computers at the cyber cafe were seized and brought here for examination by the IB officials from Delhi stationed here for the past few days. 

With the arrest of Abu Bakkar (32), three suspected LeT linkmen were thus caught in the police net, the two others being Md Bashir (45) who was arrested from Bihar's Katihar district and Md Alauddin (56) nabbed from here, the SP said.
