Iraq seeks India's help in upgrading healthcare system

Visiting Prime Minister of Iraq Nouri Al Maliki has said that his country is looking for India's cooperation in the area of healthcare, particularly in the training of its doctors, paramedical staff, building of hospitals and also in manufacturing life saving drugs. 

Mentioning that a lot of patients from Iraq visit India for treatment, he said rebuilding and strengthening healthcare infrastructure in Iraq will help people get treatment locally.
