Defiant IOA likely to amend Constitution

A defiant Indian Olympic Association (IOA) will in all likelihood amend its Constitution to incorporate age and tenure guidelines, sources told CNN-IBN on Sunday, which will give its tainted officials a lifeline to stay in power.

The IOA General Body Meeting began on a stormy note on Sunday with close to 50 demonstrators under the banner of 'Clean Sports India' protesting against the association's officials, who have been chargesheeted in corruption cases.

Media was kept away from the meeting that was also attended by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) representatives, and it seems the IOA has got its way.
