The Lok Sabha has resumed. The leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj, says the opposition is not interested in stalling Parliament proceedings. "All we ask is a statement from the PM on the missing coal files," she says. "We can't allow the government to do what it wants," she says.

CPI's Gurudas Dasgupta echoes Sushma Swaraj's sentiments. "The PM must respond immediately, these are sensitive files."

JD-U's Sharad Yadav says the missing files means the government has something to hide.

Parliamentary Affairs minister Kamal Nath says the government has nothing to hide. "The coal minister is ready to make a statement at a time fixed by you. A discussion will be held in the house during which the PM will intervene," he says.

The government has moved a resolution to for suspension of 11 Andhra MPs for disrupting Lok Sabha proceedings. The BJP objects the suspension motion.

Opposition raises slogans in the house. Tremendous ruckus in the house. Meira Kumar likely to adjourn the house any minute now.
