One arrested for attack on American woman in Mumbai train

Neeta Kolhatkar reports that the police have arrested one person for the attack on Michelle Mark, an American, in the first class ladies compartment of a Mumbai local train.

The police had detained 28 suspects and were carrying out investigations based on the description given by Mark.

On the day of the assault, she was on way her way home in Goregaon, after visiting a church in Colaba. The attack had taken place on August 18, between Marine Drive and Charni Road railway stations, and the assailant had managed to escape after snatching her iPhone.
