Hot piece of conversation in Central Hall: Suspension of AP MPs
August 22, 2013  16:21
The Central Hall of Parliament today, was overflowing with a mix of MPs from all political parties, who were speculating over the number of Andhra Pradesh Congress and TDP MPs who will be asked to resign tomorrow morning before the Lok Sabha resumes. Informally, many senior leaders are accusing Parliamentary Affairs minister Kamal Nath of mishandling the suspension of the 11 Andhra Pradesh MPs.

The Central Hall was flooded with booklets in English and Hindi titled, Save Andhra Pradesh. An Andhra MP kept copies of the booklet on every seat in the house.

Biju Janata Dal MPs have told Kamal Nath that they are opposed to any suspension or explusion of MPs just because they want their voice to be heard over the bifurication of Andhra Pradesh. They said such suspension will become convention , which is unacceptable.
