Age matters: Karunanidhi's wife exempted from court appearance in 2G case

The Supreme Court has exempted DMK chief M Karunanidhi's wife Dayalu Ammal from personal appearance before the Special CBI court as a witness in the 2G case. SC asks trial court to appoint a commission to examine Dayalu Ammal in the case at Chennai.

A four-member medical board comprising doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, last month examined Dayalu Ammal, ascertain whether she was medically fit to depose in the court in connection with the 2G spectrum allocation case.
