LIVE! Asaram Bapu charged with sexual assault

A rape case has been filed by self-styled spiritual guru Asaram Bapu in Delhi. The spiritual preacher was in the news recently after he was granted conditional exemption from personal appearance in court in connection with a case filed against him for his alleged malicious statement with regard to the Delhi gang-rape incident.

According to the complainant, Asaram Bapu had held the victim responsible for the gang rape. He had also said that the girl should have not ventured out without the protection of her guardians at odd hours.
