Snowden reporter: Won't be silenced by detention

The American journalist who has written stories based on leaked documents from former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden today said he would not be silenced by what he described as police harassment of his partner, who was detained for nine hours as he passed through Heathrow Airport. 

London police detained David Miranda, the partner of reporter Glenn Greenwald, under anti-terror legislation at the London airport yesterday. Miranda arrived today in Rio de Janeiro, where he lives with Greenwald.
