American woman attacked, robbed on Mumbai local train

An American national was attacked and robbed of her mobile phone in the ladies' compartment of a local train in Mumbai.

The incident took place last evening between Marine Lines and Charni Road stations of Western Railway when an unidentified man boarded the ladies compartment and tried to snatch the bag of Michelle Mark, a United States national,police said. When she resisted, he attacked her and after snatching her i-phone he fled.
