Chinese armymen, families join I-Day celebrations

A large contingent of Chinese army men, along with their families, visited Bum La pass in Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh for a special border personnel meeting on August 15 to celebrate Indian Independence Day.

"The meeting was held at the historic 'Maitri Sthal' at Bum La pass in Tawang on August 15 to celebrate the 67th Independence Day of India, in continuation of the existing bonhomie between the two great Asian countries," army officials said.
