SC dismisses PIL challenging IAS officer Durga's suspension

The Supreme Court today dismissed a PIL challenging the suspension of IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal. She can take care of herself, the SC said.

Durga can suspend the order by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in an appropriate manner, the apex court ruled.

Nagpal was suspended by the Uttar Pradesh government for allegedly taking on the sand mafia.
