Live! Fodder scam: SC dismisses Lalu's plea seeking judge's transfer

In a major setback for Lalu Prasad Yadav, the Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected the plea of the Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo seeking transfer of trial court judge hearing a fodder scam case against him in Jharkhand.

Reacting to the top court's judgment, Lalu's senior counsel Ram Jethmalani said: The "Supreme Court is supreme".

Appearing for Lalu Prasad, senior counsel Ram Jethmalani had told the court that he was not seeking a trial from the beginning but their only apprehension was that the judgment had already been written and trial court judge seeking written submissions was a farce. More
