Parliament adjourned over Kishtwar violence

Both houses of Parliament have been adjourned over the violence in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir. The Rajya Sabha will reconvene in about 15 minutes, the Lok Sabha at noon.

Authorities clamped indefinite curfew and deployed army and paramilitary personnel in Kisthwar on Friday following violent clashes between two communities that left at two persons dead and injured 30 others. Mobs went on rampage and set fire to around 30 structures, including a hotel and a petrol pump besides over half a dozen vehicles.
