Legal notice against TOI for 'mall charging Muslims entry fee' story

A legal notice has been served against the publishers of the Times of India newspaper for bringing communal harmony into disrepute by publishing a story, that Himalaya Mall was charging only Muslims on the Eid day, based on lies.

In his notice, the activist Tejendar Pal Bagga has attached copy of the receipt, circular and hoardings in front of the Mall as reference to prove Mall was charging reimbursable entry fee irrespective of religion. The notice has warned legal action if the newspaper fails to publish an apology in the front page. Read
