Parliament adjourned after uproar over Antony's clean chit to Pak

After observing a moment's silence over the deaths of the five Indian jawans killed at the LoC yesterday, BJP senior leader Venkaiah Naidu demands answers from the government -- why was defence minister AK Antony's statement different from that of the Army PRO. He said the government's stand on the attack was unsatisfactory and that these were not isolated incidents. "Why has the defence minister given a clean chit to Pakistan? He must apologise," said Naidu.

In the Lok Sabha, leader of the opposition in the house, wants the prime minister to comment on Antony's statement yesterday.

Consequently, both houses of Parliament have been adjourned.
