Nitish announces Rs 10 lakh compensation for slain soldiers

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the family of each of the four soldiers, who were killed in an ambush by Pakistani forces along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. 

Kumar also announced a state funeral for the martyrs, sources in the Chief Minister's Office said. The deceased jawans, belonging to 21 Bihar Regiment, were deployed on the Sarla forward post along the LoC in Chakan-Da-Bagh sector of Poonch.
