Shinde undergoes surgery for lung ailment

Here's why Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde is not in Parliament. Shinde was operated upon for a lung ailment at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Sunday.

His daughter Praniti Shinde said he was admitted on Saturday evening and underwent the scheduled operation at Breach Candy Hospital late on Sunday morning.Shinde is said to be under the care of Dr R K Deshpande and Dr A Jog, who specialise in oncology. More
