How Atal Bihari Vajpayee still makes his presence felt in Parliament

The monsoon session of Parliament began at precisely 11 am with the National Anthem. BJP senior leader LK Advani crossed the floor from Opposition benches to Treasury side shook hands with defence minsiter AK Antony.

Seeing Advani approach the treasury benches, NCP chief Sharad Pawar who was seated near Sonia Gandhi, got on his feet and greeted the BJP senior leader. Dr Manmohan Singh also stood up
and shook hands with Advani.

Going over to the treasury benches and greeting senior leaders is a tradition set by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
