PM candidate should be named AFTER polls: Jaswant

Senior BJP leader Jaswant Singh today joined the voices within the party who are not in favour of naming Narendra Modi as its prime ministerial candidate ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, saying India does not have a presidential system of democracy.

He said naming of the prime ministerial candidate ahead of the polls was a "new phenomena" but a name would emerge on the numbers that the country throws up after the polls.
