Two Maoists surrender in Odisha

Two hardcore Maoists, including a woman cadre, surrendered before police in Odisha's Nabarangpur district today as they were "disillusioned with the activities of Naxals and found them to be harassing tribals and the poor".

The ultras, identified as Radhika Biswakarma alias Ramvati, 19, of Kundei area in Nabarangpur district and Ramesh Markam alias Amar, 22, of Dantewada in Chhattisgarh, surrendered before Superintendent of Police Brajesh Rai.
